Animal Services Program
The Town of Lawrence has recently partnered with the Citizen Animal Response Team (CART) to enhance animal control services
within our community.
What CART Does:
Responds to reports of stray animals
Works to reunite lost pets with their owners
Assists with injured or nuisance wildlife
CART is staffed by trained, paid on-call volunteers who are available 24/7 to respond when traditional Animal Control or other resources are unavailable.
This partnership strengthens the Town’s commitment to animal welfare and public safety.
For animal-related concerns when Animal Control is unavailable, CART can now serve as a reliable and compassionate resource.
