Comprehensive Plan
Town of Lawrence Comprehensive Plan
The 2023 update to the Town Comprehensive Plan is currently underway. The goal of this plan is to shape a vision for the future of the Town of Lawrence and identify long-range goals and objectives related to community elements such as land use, transportation, utility infrastructure, economic development, quality of life, housing, parks, and more. The Comprehensive Plan will be developed over the next 10-12 months through ideas and feedback from the community, existing conditions analysis, and professional direction. A Resident Advisory Committee has been developed to assist in this process as well.
The Town has chosen the Brown County Planning Commission to facilitate the planning process for the plan, which will include several opportunities for community engagement. These opportunities will include online survey, visioning session public meeting, and an interactive map.
