A Note for Homeowners
Per Town Ordinance 116-26, homeowners are required to complete landscaping within 9 months of occupancy. 

Post Construction Requirements

Per Town Ordinance 145, erosion control is required to prevent materials from leaving the construction site and creating problems for storm water management.

• Minimum 1.5" stone tracking pad is REQUIRED
• Protect inlets, ditches, streets, and swales
• Use straw or mulch for new lawns
• silt fence or silt sock is REQUIRED
• Final grade and landscaping must comply with all drainage plans drafted for the development and surrounding areas.

The property owner is responsible to maintain erosion control measures until ground cover is established.

*Please Note:  Residential sites with more than 1 acre of planned disturbance requires an erosion control permit from the Department of Natural Resources.
